TeamIntroduction
The Product Strategy& Operations team is part of the TikTok Global MonetizationProduct & Technology organization and holds a strong advertiserfocus and a dedication to technical excellence. We work withadvertisers from all verticals, such as eCommerce, Retail, Travel,Media & Entertainment, etc, to make TikTok the most immersiveand frictionless advertising experience for consumers to discoverand purchase products, content and services, and for advertisers togenerate and capture new and existing demand at the point ofdiscovery. We are on the critical path to delivering TikTok's Adsrevenue and working on building the next-generation performance adssolution for TikTok.
We are looking to bring onan experienced Product Marketing Manager who will lead productstrategy and go-to-market planning for Lead Ads products. Thenear-term focus of the person in this role will be to understandthe unique needs of marketers by business model and marketingobjective, and support building solutions that can optimize theirtrue business outcome on our platform.
Theperson in this role will drive the end-to-end lifecycle of productsand partner with Product Managers and Engineers to understandcustomer needs, recommend features, execute tests, and leadgo-to-market planning for the global launches of products to allTikTok marketers. This person will have the opportunity to becomean expert on customer needs and market opportunity and use theirinsights to shape what solutions are built and shipped formarketers.
Responsibilities:
-Become an expert on customer problems and market needs by engagingdeeply with TikTok's customers, customer-facing teams and industrysources
- Manage a high performing, global teamof product marketing specialists
- Conductqualitative and quantitative market research with the focus onexploring new solutions and gathering early insights to informproduct planning
- Become the product expertwith assessing product market fit for products through alpha andbeta testing phases, and establishing a closed loop mechanism togather timely feedback and ultimately ensure product launch exceedscustomer expectations
- Set the vision forproduct launch and GTM strategy, and partner closely with yourregional counterparts to drive in-market activations, salesenablement and product adoption
- Influenceproduct requirements through early stages of planning anddevelopment with a clear articulation of customer feedback andmarket insights, becoming a trusted partner to product and thoughtleader in the problem/solution space.
-Participate in establishing a high caliber/best in class productmarketing team at TikTok by leveraging opportunities to share bestpractices, evolve our processes and frameworks that benefit theentire team and PSOorganization
Qualifications:
MinimumQualifications:
- MBA orequivalent advanced degree required, with a focus on Marketing,Economics or Business Administration
- 5+ yearsof product marketing in the tech industry
-Experience leading teams of 10+ people in product management,product marketing, or operations function
-Comfort with ambiguity and using a data-driven approach toestablish strategy and priorities
- Experiencelaunching products globally and core product marketing skills inproduct positioning, messaging, naming, and GTM planning
- Ability to manage multiple products andmarkets and have a good sense of prioritization to drive thehighest impact in the role (partnered with product managementand/or engineering to represent marketrequirements)
- Experience operating in afast-paced environment and flexibility to work across multipletime-zones
PreferredQualifications:
- Experience with0-1 product - shaping product strategy, testing in market, definingGTM plan, establishing plan for scaling
-Self-motivated to set a high bar for success and excellence in therole
