Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

•We are seeking a talented and driven UX Designer to join ourCorporate Banking Customer Experience (CX) team. The idealcandidate will have a strong understanding of corporate banking,particularly around platform and financial market products, orexperience working on client-facing projects within financialinstitutions or fintechs. Proficiency in Figma for prototyping anddesign is essential, as well as a strong grasp of design systemsand design system governance. You should excel in both UX and UIdesign, with a deep understanding of service designprinciples.

• As a collaborative team player,you will work closely with distributed international teams tocreate innovative solutions and enhance user experiences.Additionally, you will support ideation sessions and innovationworkshops to drive creative thinking and problem-solving. RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy


•Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of ourplatform product suite and business priorities

•Go deep in researching and understanding our Platform and (FM)Financial Markets services, products and users in closecollaboration with our client research and insightsteam

• Produce high-quality UX based on clientresearch and user testing data

• Create highfidelity prototypes using UI components from our componentlibrary

• Present these prototypes to seniorleaders and be able to communicate clearly about the process andreasoning that went into the design

•Pro-actively engage stakeholders and collaboration partners tounderstand the products and business context, and to help them getonboard with your design solution proposals

•Pro-actively engage our team and our stakeholders to stay on top ofyour work and keep your momentumgoing

Business

•Our team services the entire Corporate and Institutional Bankingdomain. This includes corporate banking and trading platforms, APIdeveloper platforms, and internal employee productivity tools andservices. Your focus will be on Platform services and FM products.This means services that connect and support different products onour corporate banking platform, as well as FMproducts.

Processes

•You need to be familiar with the concepts of design languagesystems, component libraries, UX and UI best practices, and CXfundamentals. You must be able to structure your time and becapable of taking the initiative. You have exceptional written andverbal communication skills, as well as a strong sense of empathyfor our audience who utilize our products to drive theirbusinesses. You're also a meticulous note taker with keen attentionto detail.

• You're a team player and coordinatewith others to get things done. You're open to sharing and givingfeedback, and are quick to help where needed. You're also familiarand comfortable working within constraints, and ready to learnabout and practice what's required when working in a regulatedenvironment.

RiskManagement

• Our team isresponsible for delivering quality product and service design,meant to enable colleagues and clients to perform their workefficiently and effectively. In doing so, we must be careful withdata management and play our part in ensuring we protect it andthat our designs take this into consideration. Risk management isinterwoven in our design activities and you will need to ensurethat risk is always a consideration throughout your design processall the way todelivery.

•Our team contributes the Design Community of Practice and theBank's central design system, we inform design governance decisionsin the Bank. As part of our responsibility, we must oversee andcontribute to areas such as career progression, mentorship,tooling, support, and more. It will be your responsibility tosupport and participate in these activities when and if theopportunities arise. Our focus is on advocating for design andengineering best practices andexcellence.

Our IdealCandidate

• Experience drivingprojects from initiation to delivery, defining the business valuegained with the program and utilising this with stakeholders forbuy-in.

• 5+ years of experience in producing UXand UI design, including interactive prototypes usingFigma

• Experience working at financialinstitutions, including fintechs, would bedesirable

• Education equivalent to a BS inlibrary/information science, human/computer interaction, webdevelopment, computer science, graphic arts/digital design,psychology, business, or other equivalentdiscipline.

• You have an understanding of humancentred design methodologies and usabilitytesting

• Working knowledge of enterpriseproject methodology, and capable of working with IT to managebusiness and technical requirements fordocumentation

• You also understand globaldiversity and the ability to advise on solutions that suitall.

• You have the ability and desire to keepchallenging yourself and others with entrepreneurial attitude andpassion for observing human behaviour, identifying team biases andsurfacing these with grit.

• You work smart, areflexible and skilled in establishing practicalprocesses.

• Familiarity with Informationarchitecture and interaction design

• Experiencein Agile and/or LEAN projects

• Good stakeholdermanagement and influencing skills

• Strongcommunication skills

• IC Agile or SCRUMcertification would be desirable

• Expert levelcapability in Figma

• Strong working knowledgeof Microsoft Office

• You love to takeownership, see your projects through to launch and keep an eye onthem afterwards, always on the lookout forimprovement.

Role SpecificTechnical Competencies

• Stronginfluencing and communication skills - oral, written andpresentation

• Strong understanding of visualelements, including the application of brand standards(Layout,Type, Fonts...)

• Knowledge of corporate bankingconcepts

• Ability to collaborate with engineersto help and guide them in translating design tocode

• Ability to translate UI design intointeractive prototypes
