TeamIntroduction

Our mission in theexperimentation and evaluation team is to build the next-gen A/Btesting platform, that empowers the company to make data-drivendecisions for the products. The supported scenarios includerecommendations, push, ads, search, mobile app, UI interaction andservice upgrades etc.

Our platform'scapabilities cover the entire experiment life cycle, fromexperiment design, experiment creation, metrics calculation, andstatistical analysis to final evaluation and launch. In the processof rapid iteration, we provide reliable services for businesses tomake bold hypotheses and cautious verification.

Responsibilities

• Analytics: Work independently to define, design,prototype, and implement complex exploratory analysis, w.r.t boththeoretical and business perspectives.
• Methodology development: Leverage deep statisticalexpertise to improve and/or create methodologies
• Teamwork: Participate actively and thoughtfully inmultidisciplinary teams to implement algorithms inproduction
• Communication: Effectivelycommunicate insights and recommendations to support decisions onfuture research directions
• Mentorship: Overseethe analyses of junior statisticians and data scientists, andsupport their professionaldevelopment

MinimumQualification

• M.S. orPh.D. in Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research,Mathematics, Computer Science, or other quantitativefields
• Passion for solving unstructured andnon-standard mathematical problems
• Expertisein experimental design and/or Bayesian inference &optimization
• Fluency with SQL orsimilar
• Proficiency with Python, or otherinterpreted programming language like R orMatlab

PreferredQualification

• 2 yearsexperience with Bayesian experiment/optimization systemdesign
• Experience with quasi-experimentalcausal inference (Rubin causal model/ structural causal model/instrumental variables etc.)
• In-depthunderstanding and hands-on experience in wielding tools likegraphs.
• 2 years experience with applyingmodern machine learning techniques and/or collaborating with MLscientists
• Excellent written and oralcommunication skills, including an ability to translate statisticalmethods and findings for a non-technical audience
• Comfortable with massive paper searching, reading andcomposing.
