Job Description
The Solutions Engineer is anexperienced person who works alongside their colleagues,participates in building our team culture and supports theiraligned sales team to create solutions for prospects and customers.To accomplish this, the Solutions Engineer must have a strongdesire to set the vision translating business objectives intoenticing and actionable recommendations. The Solution Engineer willact as a trusted advisor to our customers while aiding thecustomer's transformationaljourney.
Responsibilities:
- Manage enterprise organisations across a range ofindustries to understand their challenges and goals through focuseddiscovery sessions and workshops in both Tagalog andEnglish.
- Work closely with current customersand prospective customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understandtheir unique company challenges and goals
- Build trusted relationship with senior executives and keydecision makers across Business and Technology
- Able to create the first level of Business Architectureand engage Business/ IT on it.
- To develop anddeliver innovative custom solutions, including solution concepts tokey decision makers to address their business issues and needsaligned to business value
- Coordinate and leadthe entire solution cycle through close collaboration with a broadrange of supporting technical and business resources
- To fully understand and clearly articulate the uniquebenefits of Salesforce to a wide range of customer stakeholdersfrom front line staff right up to C-level executives
- Present compelling Salesforce & partner solutionswhile supporting relationships with customers andpartners
- Display initiative, self motivationand deliver high quality results along with meeting allexpectations for both internal and external customers.
- Have a strong interest in growing your career andparticipating in our internal training programs and mentorshipinitiatives.
- Must have a proven track recordin the development and delivery of differentiated custom solutionsand presentations, including technical concepts, to key decisionmakers to address their business issues and needs.
- Ability to orchestrate a sales cycle which requiresinvolvement of multiple internal and external resources.
- Willing and able to travel about 25% - 40% of thetime
Skills/ExperienceRequired:
- Exposure to DesignThinking, Consulting methodologies and Enterprise Architecturewould be an added advantage
- A broadunderstanding of and ability to articulate the benefits of CloudComputing, SFA, Service & Support, Marketing and Mobilesolutions.
- Business case/value engineeringexperience to drive compelling points of view
- Knowledge of related applications, relational databaseand web technology
- Solid oral, written,presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skillsand relationship skills
- Ability to work aspart of a team to solve technical problems in a variedenvironment
- Translate these needs into acompelling vision and roadmap for our customers
- Translating/Presenting/Understanding the unique businessrequirements of customers within multiple industries
- Track record of solution engineering, consultancy,delivery or training success for a software solution organisation.We are open to a variety of backgrounds for the role
- Proven time management skills in a dynamic teamenvironment.
- Ability to work as part of a teamto solve problems in varied, fast paced environments
- Inquisitive, practical and passionate about technologyand sharing knowledge
- Good at searching outinformation and experimenting, likes to concentrate on a particulartopic and to solve puzzles
- Good at explainingideas and finding ways to keep people's attention.
- Knowledge of Salesforce will be an addedadvantage.
- Fluency in Tagalog will beadvantageous, as this person will be working with clients in thePhilippines market.
