Job Description

Our deal advisory team provides holistic client solutions forbuying, selling, partnering, funding and fixing. The TransactionServices team focuses on due diligence assistance in relation toacquisitions, disposals, public bids/mergers, joint ventures,buy-outs, market entries, financing and other transactions. Theteam also helps clients identify upside opportunities and risks intheir transaction processes to satisfy the due diligencerequirements of underwritingbanks.

Responsibilities
  • Engagement leadership:Effectively leading multiple large, complex workstreams inambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
  • Business development:Building, commercialising and sustaining relationships with topmanagement team members. You are required to develop TS offeringsfocusing on traditional, digital and social infrastructure. You areexpected to be comfortable in sharing asset opportunities toclients and provide regularly input into horizon scanningactivities.
  • Riskmanagement: Identify and manage risks to ensure thatthe firm's risk management frameworks are implemented appropriatelyand effectively.
  • Teamdevelopment: Identify and accelerate leadershipdevelopment in team members by establishing appropriate plans andframeworks with particular emphasis on coaching and skillstransfer.
  • Personaldevelopment: Participate in the career and skillsdevelopment of more junior staff and acting as a role model forcolleagues and clients by living the values of the Firm.
  • Performance management:Coaching and mentoring junior staff in the department.
  • Deliver quality services:You are required to monitor and deliver high quality service toclients (both internal and external). You are also to be proficientat managing multiple priorities.
  • Advisory skills: You are toutilise your extensive skills and experience to provide advice as atrustedadviser.

Experience,skills and qualifications
  • Strong academic background with financial and accountingqualifications such as ACCA, ISCA, CFA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in globalaccounting firms, with detailed knowledge and understanding offinancial due diligence and M&A processes.
  • Prior experience working in SEA infrastructuretransactions is highly regarded.
  • Strongpersonal impact.
  • Excellent written and oralcommunication and presentation skills.
  • Will beworking with Japanese Clients. Proficiency in Japanese language isa must.
  • Strong analytical skills including theability to interpret data, generate insights and constructsolutions.
  • Evidence of working successfullywith top management teams at clients.
  • Abilityto perform consistently under pressure.
  • Ability to lead and operate in high performing andmulti-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge andexperience in basic Microsoft Office applications (including Excel,PowerPoint and Word).
  • Enthusiasm to work aspart of a team based across multiple geographies to meetchallenging client deadlines in a fast pacedenvironment.
