Purpose ofRole:

This person is responsiblefor ship electrical detail design activities and able to processbasic design information to expand the function design intoproduction information for the marinevessel.

This role shall perform engineering ofelectrical and navigation equipment to the related platformequipment, as well to interface with Ship Management System (SMS).The scope includes :

o Main Power generation anddistribution system network and architecture

oIntegrated electric propulsion systems, Power managementsystems

o Engineering integration between shipequipment / Ship Monitoring system with Electrical powergeneration

o Electrical fittings, equipment andpanel arrangement

o Preparation of equipmentconnection and cable schedules

o Electricaldesigncalculation

Responsibilities:

•Responsible for vessel electrical system detail design inaccordance with Marine Classification and regulatory, as well asIMO/Solas

• Review vendors technical proposal toensure solution meets the functionalrequirement

• Responsible for ensuring theContractual technical requirement and Classification requirement ofautomation related design are fulfilled and within projectschedule.

• Liaise with client and otherinternal engineering trades for projectcoordination.

• Attend technical review andmeetings with client and vendors during project execution to ensurerequirement are fulfilled, technical solutions are discussed andtechnical issuesresolved.

Knowledge andSkills:

• Knowledge of MarineElectrical and Automation systems

• Knowledge inAutocad, Naviswork, ETAP and CADCAM 3D software will beadvantageous

Requirements:

• 3 years of related experience in Ship design relatedengineering industries such as Marine & Offshore
• Degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronic or anyrelated engineering field
• Good InterpersonalSkills, Problem-Solving skills and is a team player.
• Good time management and able to meet tightdeadlines.
