Stewardship Asia Centre, a Temasek-established non-profit centre, is seeking a purpose-driven intern to support the development of its digital platform, www.stewardshipcommons.com. This fast-growing crowdsourced content and community hub is focused on stewardship, environmental and social sustainability, climate change, diversity and inclusion, and more.

Potential candidates will gain exposure to a wide spectrum of technologies and help support the development of a free-to-access crowdsourced digital platform that showcases solutions, insights and ideas for people and the planet.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Assists in the development of frontend and backend features for application
• Develop scripts to enable automated integration, delivery and deployment of the application
• Define, implement and automate tests to ensure that the functional, performance and security requirements are met
• Ensure quality assurance and testing of your deliverables

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Experienced with RESTful web services design and development using .netcore(c#)
• Detailed knowledge of at least one modern JavaScript framework (React/Angular/Vue)
• Proficient in Python
• Familiar with relational and non-relational databases e.g. MySQL, MongoDB, MSSQL
• Familiar with version control systems e.g. Github
• Good OOP and design knowledge for creating extensible, re-usable software
• Strong understanding of the fullweb/mobile development life cycle
• Able to work independently and efficiently
• AWS (EC2) / Azure Cloud hosting knowledge is a bonus
