Brief description of the Restaurant

Savoureux is an exquisite Japanese-French fusion restaurant located in the vibrant neighborhood of Jalan Besar, Singapore. We take pride in offering a unique dining experience that combines the delicate flavors of Japanese cuisine with the elegance of French culinary techniques. As a Muslim-owned establishment, we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for both our staff and guests.

Job Descriptions

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dishes and specials, incorporating fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Assist in stock management, inventory control, and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the menu, suggesting improvements and innovative ideas.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, sanitation, and professionalism.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a relevant culinary role is preferred but not required. Fresh graduates from culinary schools are welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of Japanese and/or French cuisine is an advantage.
  • Understanding of different cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Passion for food and a strong desire to learn and grow as a culinary professional.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being proactive and independent.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Working hours

  • 5days work / 11hrs per day
  • 11am~11pm (1hour break)
