Roles & Responsibilities

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Installs and maintains equipment.
• Troubleshoots mechanical and electrical problems
• Able to program simple machines, set up work recipes.
• Dismantles equipment and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Performs IQ/OQ/PQ for new equipment introduced for production.
• Improves equipment and process efficiency.
• Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Completes/oversees preventive maintenance for facilities and production equipment to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Able to lift and move heavy equipment.

Secondary Job Responsibilities:

• Trains Operations staff on proper operation of equipment.
• Maintains inventories of equipment and spare parts by checking stock and placing orders.
• Coordinates with Quality Department to ensure all equipment calibrations are valid and re-calibration is performed on-time.
• Creates procedures on how to operate equipment.

Minimum Education Required:

• Minimum BA or equivalent degree in a technical area.

Additional Qualifications Required:

• Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Working knowledge of cleanroom procedures.
• Able to read equipment and electrical schematics.

Minimum Experience:

• 5 years experience in equipment repair in a production setting.

• N/A

Working Conditions:

• Work to be performed in normal office environment as well as cleanroom environment with temperatures between 16 °C and 26 °C
