Roles & Responsibilities

My client, an IT service management company is looking to hire IT specialist (Infrastructure) to join the IT team under the Corporate solution department.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and how to operate and maintain it.

Role

• People Management: Train and brief user/department IT promoters on security best practices. Organize and manage team members.
• IT Assets Management: Manage IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
• System Management: Manage internal IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
• System Enhancement: Improve and enhance the system environment, including performance, security, and compliance.
• System Security: Enhance system security with compliance standards.
• Troubleshooting: Support department IT promoters in troubleshooting system/equipment problems (PC, server, network).
• Policy Planning: Plan and define security and maintenance policies.

Requirements

• Degree from any recognized university

Experience:

• At least 4 years of working experience in system construction and internal IT
• Experience in infrastructure operation and maintenance
• Experience in organizing and maintaining operation rules and conditions
• Have experience with cloud services, Office applications, and Windows Server OS.
• Programming skills and experience with application development are also nice to have.

Knowledge:

• Cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Windows Server OS
• Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Admin Center, Intune)

Skills:

• Active Directory
• Backup tools (Veeam, BackupExec)
• Networking (SSL-VPN, firewalls)
• Application development
• Programming skills (PowerShell, shell scripts, VBS/VBA, Python)
• Microsoft 365
