Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

The Executive will oversee and handle the company’s responsibilities of conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, managing case files, reviewing external and internal contractual documents. He/She will also be responsible for providing support to the organization or individual on wide range of tasks related to office management, communication, and organization.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS


Paralegal Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Conducting research on various legal issues related to commercial law, such as contract law, securities law, and intellectual property law.
  • Drafting and reviewing various legal documents related to business transactions, such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, project agreements, partnership agreement and corporate agreement.
  • Drafting and reviewing company policies and procedures.
  • Organizing and maintaining legal documents and files related to commercial and legal transactions.
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders involved in commercial / legal matters.
  • Assisting in the preparation of closing process for commercial transaction.
  • Conducting due diligence investigations (if required).
  • Coordinating and managing the workflow for commercial transactions and legal matters.

Admin Executive Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Handling all the contractual matter in terms of emails, and other communications.
  • Managing calendars and scheduling appointments.
  • Drafting and preparing documents such as memos, reports, and presentations.
  • Organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.
  • Performing other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Liaising with corporate secretary to facilitate on corporate matters.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS


1. FORMAL EDUCATION: Degree or Diploma in Business or Political Science or Laws


2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5 or more years related experience in a similar position and organization with exposure to business on this field (Prior experience in legal environment or fields such as customer service, administration or project management can also be beneficial).
  • Relevant experience in legal terminology, procedures, documentation, proficiency of legal research and writing.
  • Detailed oriented, able to plan and manage stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong analytical skills, accurate and attention to detail.
  • Independent, analytical, stress-tolerant, goal-oriented, diligent, and able to multi-task.
  • Effective time-management skills.
  • Strong team player, good teamwork skills and team player to forge relationships with the related teams.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications especially Excel and ERP knowledge.

3. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required and Preferred : Microsoft Office, Good Communications and Interpersonal Skills, Multitasking Skills, Problem Solving, legal knowledge, Meticulous and service-oriented, Project Coordination.
