Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join the Bank’s Trade Finance Department and the key duties include:

• Checking and processing of Import and Export documents (LC Advising, Negotiations, Confirmations, Collections, Discounts and Payments).
• Performing related AML and KYC checks for the transactions
• Following up on overdue/ unpaid bills.
• Liaise with clients, RM & CSM for resolution of discrepancies raised by TSU and monitor transaction closure.
• Maintain close communication with internal customers such as Corporate and Institutional Banking, Credit & Compliance, Treasury, Finance, etc.
• Assist in providing ad-hoc MIS and regulatory reporting
• SOX attester performing testing and walkthrough activities annually.
• Any other relevant task or project as assigned by the Reporting Manager

Job Requirement

• Bachelor Degree in the fields either Finance, Business, Economics or Banking
• At least 3 - 5 years in banking industry within trade finance related position
