Astek is proposing an opportunity for Business Data Analyst (Power BI Gateway) to support our project based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers, end users, and product owners on their business goals, data needs, and reporting requirements.
• Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.
• Evaluate and analyze complex data sets, data profiling, and design efficient data models to ensure optimal data integration and performance within Power BI.
• Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI desktop, Power BI Gateway and Power BI service.
• Implement data transformation processes using Power Query/M, SQL, or other tools to clean, transform, and enrich data from multiple sources.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• With at least 3 years of experience in data analysis, visualization, data modeling, and data visualization techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, Power BI Gateway, DAX, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power BI mobile.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Experience in other data visualization tools, such as Tableau or QlikView, is a plus.
• A good team player with excellent communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
