We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Specialist, Finance Operations Reinsurance.

Principal Responsibilities

• As one of the active account handlers manage all Broker / RI customer quarries, recoveries, correspondence for the allocated portfolio
• MAS reporting relating to Broker / RI customers and group reporting
• PDD and bad debt calculation as per the governance for all partner channels
• Assistance in strengthening controls around RI related debtor reporting and identification of provision and bad debt write-off as the account handler
• Support the internal business to manage the business and the client servicing efficiently by managing queries and dispute efficiently
• Coordinate with third party service providers to recover long outstanding debtors
• Daily reciting of the transactions flowing from the Bank payment gateway and recoveries from RI customers
• Review and posting of receipts payment vouchers into the relevant Broker / RI customer
• Work with various stakeholders in ensuring the quality of data that flows into the Broker / RI accounts are accurate
• Manage 1 off-shore team members of the “broker” teams as the onshore business partner
• Mange the monthly reviewer of the Broker / RI commission, commission pay out and account statements
• Involved in ad-hock system related projects and projects targeting process streamlining and enhancing controls

Requirements

• Background in Credit Control with exposure to Insurance industry experience is a must
• Managing Broker / RI customer will be a distinct advantage
• Sound understanding into the Singapore Insurance industry and regulatory requirements
• Experience with ERP system preferably familiar with AS400 and excellent MS excel knowledge
• Ability to provide structure and solutions to problematic areas, to challenge information presented, providing explanations to ensure that agreement is reached by all parties
• Ability to multitask and manage various stakeholders as well as competing deadlines
