The Company
Our client is a global leader in the downstream petrochemical infrastructure sector with an established presence in Asia. As they continue their expansion plans in the region, they are seeking a Senior Accountant/Assistant Manager to join their Singapore Finance team.

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will work independently in oversee and ensure accurate and timely financial accounting, perform on-going and period end general ledger postings, preparation of financial statements including IFRS reporting. You will also be involved in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting as well as all corporate tax and GST matters. Last but not least, you will play an active role in participating in global process improvement initiatives.

Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will have a degree in accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in financial accounting, particularly experience in handling general ledger or full sets of accounts, closing, fixed assets, external reporting and tax.
• Prior external audit exposure in a Big 4 accounting firm will be essential.
• Exposure to SAP and Power BI will be highly preferred.
