Roles & Responsibilities

In your new role you will:

• Drive efficiency improvement using Lean Manufacturing approach to identify waste and to improve the factory manufacturing process flow
• Drive improvement initiatives for Manufacturing Efficiency and cost performance through simulation and work method optimization
• Develop Manufacturing methods and Labor utilization standards to drive towards best in class
• Provide expert guidance on workflow optimization, labor resource deployment to enable scalability
• Partner with Automation team in the transition of i4.0 initiatives rollout in the factory
• Model and Analyse different business requirements and propose cost-effective solutions
• Tool up business case, validation and prepare proposals for management review
• Perform Benchmarking and Best Practice Sharing within the Infineon Backend community

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Industrial / Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering with more than 5 years of relevant experience,preferably in the semiconductor industry
• Domain knowledge in Industrial Engineering or related field will be an advantage
• A strong team player with excellent communication skills and project management experience
• Highly analytical with desire to initiate improvements
• Certified in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or possesses experience in applying DMAIC principles will have distinct advantage
• Prior experience in driving I4.0 projects is preferred
