Our Client an Asian Bank is in the midst of expanding their IT Team. This is a great opportunity to join a growing Infrastructure team IT.

• As a Cloud and Platform Infrastructure Architect, you will lead, define, and design the cloud and platform infrastructure strategy and approach. You will also develop and maintain relationships with key technical client stakeholders.
• Your overall responsibility will be to manage Cloud and Platform Services, including software deployment and upgrade, system setup, system administration, monitoring, incident resolution, problem management, configuration and change management, service desk, security management and monitoring, capacity planning, availability management, disaster recovery, and routine update of services.
• You will create and maintain strategies related to Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Services (Azure as primary), and on-prime Platform throughout the enterprise, ensuring that all performance and cost curves are closely managed. You will also drive the adoption of cloud infrastructure and articulate the risks and opportunities associated with it.
• In addition, you will analyze the cloud infrastructure and provide financial updates and optimization recommendations. You will also create metrics, reports, and recommended remediation options and plans for financial excellence in the cloud.
• You will oversee and direct the timely evaluation, qualification, and implementation of new software products, tools, and related appliances as it pertains to the Cloud and on-prime Platform environment. You will also present findings and technical information in a concise and compelling manner that can be understood by non-technical audiences and provides decision-makers with the context and key points.
• You will provide technical services to support the preparation of business cases, analysis of alternatives, level of effort estimates, cost analysis requirements documentation. You will also review, draft, and update the technical documents with an emphasis on accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
• Finally, you will evaluate and recommend new technologies on a regular basis to maintain technical excellence and development efficiencies both for internal use and to better service enterprise clients.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of cloud computing, cloud infrastructure, and cloud services. You will also need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience:

• Possess Azure Solution Architect certification
• 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, working with enterprise clients
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading technology and development teams
• Experience in leading multi-year on-premises platform and cloud migration programs
• Expert-level experience in architecting and delivering enterprise Azure cloud solutions
• Experience working with large data sets

Skills:

• Expert-level knowledge of server infrastructure, virtualization, and cloud computing
• Working knowledge of key mission-critical infrastructure
• Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell)
• Deep understanding of API management solutions, microservices, and system integration
• Experience building cloud native applications
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident public speaking/presentation skills
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Certifications:
• MS Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification
• AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional certification (desired)
• Experience with provisioning tools (Azure Resource Manager, Terraform) (desired)
