Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Understand client requirements, ensure superior service, and provide regular updates to the client on financial market developments and clients’ portfolios.
• Emphasize building relationships and participate in the development of new solutions tailored to client needs.
• Anticipate and create opportunities for enhancing client relationships.
• Develop new businesses and expand current deposit and investment portfolios.
• Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance as laid down by relevant teams/authorities at all times.
• To have a keen understanding and full awareness of, and adherence to, in-country regulatory framework, and rules of engagement in the sales and marketing of investment.
• Work on special projects, when requested by the Manager/ Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder and above in Finance, Business, or related discipline.
• Solid credit with strong banking knowledge and business ethics, with a minimum of 5 years of private banking experience.
• Excellent connections in the private banking market & strong knowledge of private banking products and services.
• Extremely conscious of the high sensitivity and confidentiality requirements of the market.
• This role will support the Greater China Market predominantly, liaising closely with Mandarin-speaking clients and counterparts. Thus, business-level proficiency in Mandarin/ Chinese (written and verbal) is required for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and counterparts.
