Commercial Asset Management Senior Executive (Maritime)

Job Scope:

• Support the Manager in managing a fleet of LNG carriers
• Ensure effective communication and co-ordination with Charterer, Owners, and Ship Technical Managers
• Ensure safe and reliable transportation of LNG and maximize Owner profits
• Support LNG and Offshore division in managing customer relationships and enhancing overall commercial value
• Ensure vigorous control and review of ship technical manager's actual spend v budget
• Prepare quarterly / year end OPEX reports with variance analysis for manager review and sign off
• Ensure Company (HQ) reports are submitted as per the agreed deadlines
• Support insurance manager and minimize impact to P&L
• Assist Manager during crisis management situations
• Represent Company and JVs at owner, charterer and Industry events

Job requirements:

• Degree in maritime and/ or business/Maritime/Shipping focus degree
• A good working knowledge of LNG/LPG/Tankers shipping commercial operations
• Familiarity with LNG/LPG/Tankers time charter/ shipbuilding contractual terms and associated commercial agreements
• Ability to read basic financial statements
• Excellent communication skills
• Commercially astute with a sharp eye for detail
• Capable to report complex commercial matters in a few salient points and provide resolution(s) to manage
