Overview of theRole
Engagement Managers play acritical role in setting customers up for success by prescriptivelyshaping and then leading the execution of large andtransformational engagements at our most strategic customers. OurEngagement Managers serve as a trusted advisor to Salesforcecustomers, providing guidance to Sales & Professional Servicesteams, ensuring alignments across each customer's projects, andensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. They areSalesforce platform experts who are accountable for ensuringcustomer success, business value and leading the SalesforceServices team assigned to their account(s). They drive delivery ofthe expected outcomes for each engagement and are internally andexternally recognized as a business contributor, industry andproduct specialist.
Partnered with an AccountPartner (Services Salesperson), the Engagement Manager leads bothpre and post-sales activities. They are the delivery expert acrossthe portfolio of products, responsible for developing andarticulating comprehensive implementation proposals. They will thenmaintain the executive relationships and act as a main contactwithin these engagements in a billable capacity, ensuring tightalignment, offering proactive and prescriptive advice resulting inoutstanding Customer Success. This may include thefollowing:
- Pre-Salesalignment

YourImpact:
- Deliver highclient satisfaction (CSAT) by consistently meeting/exceeding goalsand metrics
- Ensure business value is realized(directly and indirectly) for each customer engagement thatconcludes with fully satisfied clients that are willing to bereferenced for new potential clients
- Bringstandard methodologies to each engagement through your deepplatform expertise by providing the Professional Services team withSubject Matter Expertise related to the proposed solution andclient needs in order to ensure successful projectdelivery
- Positively impact client Servicesrenewals (when applicable) by aligning customer success withprofessional services roadmap.
- Align closelywith Account and Services Sales team by leading pre-salesactivities such as the development of client-specific proposals,SOWs, staffing plans, engaging with SMEs across the organization togain consensus on an acceptable proposal
- Whereappropriate and required for Customer Success, providing directoversight to the project team during the full lifecycle of theengagement, acting as the point of contact for both the customerand Salesforce delivery teams
- Successfullymanage multiple strategic clients simultaneously

RequiredQualifications:
- Directexperience delivering and/or overseeing solutions on the SalesforcePlatform.
- Proven experience deliveringconsulting services, including team leadership and activeinvolvement in selling professional services, including Advisoryengagements
- Degree or equivalent relevantexperience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the corecompetencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles,military experience, volunteer roles, work experience,etc.)
PreferredQualifications:
- Experience operating in a pre-sales environment, shapingand scoping large and complex implementation projects
- Proven experience in leading enterprise-level projectsand programs
- Salesforce Application and/orSystem Architect certifications
- Demonstratedtechnical and/or functional proficiency, and ability to work wellwith architects or SMEs into pre-sales activities.
- Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills,executive level presence and experience in working in a clientadvisory role
- Demonstrated ability toinfluence a group audience, facilitate solutioning and leaddiscussions such as implementation methodology, Road-mapping,Enterprise Transformation strategy, and executive-level requirementgathering sessions
- Proven track record inbuilding strong working relationships across multiplefunctions/levels; adept at fostering healthy dialogue
- Understands cloud-based technologies; translatescustomer/business requirements into business solutions (andsuccessfully positions with customers)
