Roles & Responsibilities

We are currently in search of an experienced IT leader to join the IT team. The successful candidate will manage a team of Software Engineers and System Engineers, provide in-house IT support/development and maintain the IT infrastructure and IT operations of the organization.

IT Support Operations – Assumes ownership of daily IT operations

• Responsible for the end user IT support operations
• Responsible for the daily backups and smooth running of IT systems; including the planning, scheduling and overseeing the maintenance of all IT systems
• Engage and manage third party vendors
• Identifies and plan for automation and productivity improvements in the delivery of daily IT operations

IT Infrastructure – Assumes ownership of all IT infrastructure

• Ensures the IT infrastructure setup, maintenance, administration and support are according to IT policies, procedures and processes
• Doubles up as Network Engineer
• Capacity management to ensure IT assets are renewed when necessary or upgraded to support usage

Compliance – Enforce IT Policies, Procedures and Processes

• Maintain IT documentation such as policies, procedures and processes
• Drive compliance and IT awareness within the company
• Support in any IT audit requirements and mitigation
• Implement new network troubleshooting processes
• Perform regular system audit

Requirements

• Graduate in Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure support; with 3 years of experience in infrastructure deployments
• Minimum 3-5 years of mentoring or leading a team
• High analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
• Able to multi-task and perform well under a tight schedule
• Good team player and yet able to work independently when required
• Possess strong knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring network equipment such as firewall rules, VLAN routing and any other form of network configurations
• MCSA/MCSE/CCNA is good to have
• Basic understanding of programming techniques and MS SQL
• Understanding of call centre phone systems such as Avaya/Cisco will be an advantage
• Experience in managing ISO audits
