Job Description:

• Test Planning: Participate in the planning and design phase of testing, collaborating with stakeholders to define test objectives, test scenarios, and test cases. Analyze system requirements, identify testable features, and create a comprehensive test plan.
• Test Execution: Execute test cases based on the test plan and document the results. Perform various types of testing such as functional testing, integration/interfaces testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Use both manual and automated testing techniques to verify the system's functionality, usability, and performance.
• Defect Identification and Tracking: Meticulously identify, and report defects or issues found during testing. Use bug tracking systems to document and track defects throughout the software development life cycle. Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Test Automation: Utilize test automation tools to create automated test scripts. Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to streamline the testing process.
• Test Environment Setup: Ensure that the testing environment is properly set up to simulate real-world conditions. Configure test systems, databases, network connections, and other necessary components to create an accurate representation of the production environment.
• Test Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test scripts, test results, and any other relevant artifacts

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, techniques, and best practices.
• Understanding of programming languages and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) to analyze code and develop test scripts. b. Knowledge of databases and ability to write and execute SQL queries for data verification and validation.
• Experience in large scale and various types of testing, including
  functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Understanding of test automation tools and frameworks and handson experience in test automation
• Familiarity with different software development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or DevOps, and their impact on testing
• Knowledge of testing processes, including test planning, test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting
• Experience with test management tools, like JIRA, to plan, execute, and track testing activities
• Proficiency in using test automation tools.
