We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Network Management.

Principal Responsibilities

Network Development:
  • Identify and evaluate potential healthcare providers, including hospitals, clinics, physicians, specialists, and ancillary service providers
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers to expand the network and enhance service delivery
  • To develop network expansion strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify network gaps and opportunities for improvement
Contract Negotiation and Management:
  • Negotiate provider contracts, reimbursement rates, and service level agreements to ensure competitive pricing and optimal terms
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure contracts comply with regulatory requirements and HSBC Life's policies
  • Regularly review and update provider contracts to align with changing business needs and market dynamics
  • Monitor contract compliance and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and take necessary actions
Provider Performance Management:
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate provider performance and quality of care
  • Conduct provider audits and performance reviews to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and service standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as claims, customer service, and medical management, to address provider-related issues and improve service delivery
  • Implement performance improvement initiatives, including provider education programs and corrective action plans when necessary
Network Optimization:
  • Analyse network utilization patterns and identify opportunities for optimization, cost savings, and improved patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with data analytics teams to generate network performance reports and insights
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance network efficiency, including provider consolidation, referral management, and telemedicine initiatives
  • Monitor healthcare industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt the network strategy accordingly
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with external vendors, such as provider credentialing agencies and network analytics providers, to ensure smooth operations and data integrity
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including underwriting, sales, and marketing, to align network strategies with business goals
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as healthcare associations, professional networks, intermediaries and industry organizations
Requirements
  • A recognized Diploma in any discipline with 1 – 2 years of related work experience in the insurance industry, preferably experience in Group or individual Health Business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and a fast learner, able to grasp processes and system quickly
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a face-paced environment
  • Strong customer orientation, team
