Job Description:

Be a part of a dynamic project team to develop software in projects and support software maintenance. You will get an opportunity to identify and explore COTS software as part of the basis of software architecture.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions;
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions;
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes;
• Investigate problem areas;
• Follow the software development lifecycle;
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code;
• Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming;
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures;
• License software by obtaining required information from vendors, recommending purchases, and testing and approving products;
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential;
• Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues;
• Accomplish engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Ideal Candidate requirement:

• Minimum 1-2 years of Software development experience and programming;
• Went through at least 1 SDLC;
• Fluent with Java, JavaScript, Node.js;
• Experience in Web technology, REST API;
• Experience in back-end development (Front-end experience with React.js is a bonus);
• Exposure to Agile methodology, DevOps and CI/CD;
• Quick learner with a results-driven personality;
• Self-starter, who can work independently;
• Works well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
