Ramboll is seeking to add a senior consultant to a technical leadership and client development role within the Global Advanced Water Treatment Department.  Ramboll is providing this opportunity for ambitious individuals with high technical and client management skills to add to Ramboll's established technical capabilities and geographic presence.

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience consulting with industrial facilities on wastewater strategic planning, technology evaluation, process engineering, design, and operational troubleshooting.  The ideal candidate is expected to be conversant with current and developing physical, chemical, and biological treatment technologies.  The role would also work with developing water recycling and resource recovery applications.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have an existing industrial network base in Singapore and South East Asia with the ability to develop projects with existing and new clients.  The candidate will work with Ramboll's water engineering team in Singapore and globally to assist with project development, execution, and quality.  The role would also lead collaboration with other Ramboll sectors such as Environment & Health, Energy and Sustainability consulting.

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Client and project development in Singapore and Asia Pacific
• Responsibility for quality on a project
• Serve as client steward/key client contact for two or more clients that you bring to Ramboll
• Technical and management interface with the Ramboll global water and wastewater treatment engineering group
• Mentor junior staff
• Identify potential clients and projects in need of wastewater management services.
• Build and maintain client relationships, including regular communication and client satisfaction assessments.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand the client base and increase revenue.
• Negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring terms are mutually beneficial and in line with company objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise on wastewater treatment processes and technologies.
• Support engineering teams with complex problem-solving and technical solutions.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in wastewater treatment and resource recovery.
• Enhance the company's reputation and brand within the industry.

Qualifications for this position

• Has or is capable of peer level publications
• Superior written and verbal communications skills
• Bachelor or Masters level qualification in chemical/environmental engineering
• Several years of relevant experience in industrial wastewater management and treatment.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing industrial wastewater treatment systems.
• Experience in project management and leadership roles
