Roles & Responsibilities

My client, an Asian bank is looking to grow their IT Security team. As a crucial member of the IT security team, you will be responsible for safeguarding the bank's information systems and networks by implementing, managing, and monitoring robust security measures.

Role

• Strategically plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect the bank's critical information assets.
• Conduct comprehensive security research to identify and analyze potential threats and vulnerabilities, recommending appropriate security controls to strengthen the bank's cybersecurity posture.
• Provide expert guidance and advisory services to stakeholders across various departments, ensuring they understand and implement security best practices.
• Handle daily administrative tasks, including reporting, documentation, and communication with relevant internal teams to maintain effective security operations.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents promptly and effectively, applying appropriate security controls to contain and remediate cyberattacks.
• Support and lead projects aimed at continuous improvement in security and compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proven expertise in Cisco Firepower and Forescout CounterACT, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in each solution.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with CyberArk PAS, Tenable.sc, SolarWinds SEM, and other security-related solutions.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, major internet protocols, and security concepts.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• A meticulous and proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset and analytical skills.
• Expert knowledge of infrastructure engineering technologies and the ability to identify, report, and resolve technical issues.
• In-depth technical understanding of installation, configuration, performance tuning, and problem-solving for security solutions.
• Strong grasp of networking technologies, including routers, firewalls, switches, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Advanced understanding of various security technologies and web technologies, with professional security certifications preferred.
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster their growth and expertise.
