Job Responsibilities:
- Process invoices,payment requests and reimbursement claims accurately within thestipulated timeframe and in accordance to internal procedures andcompliance with tax regulations.
- Follow up actively with the relevant parties to resolveproblematic invoices, including sending periodic reminders tovendors to act on disputed invoices.
- Liaise with vendors and users to facilitateprompt processing of invoices including those under Direct DebitAuthorisation (DDA).
- Accrue unprocessed invoices, payment request andreimbursement claims at month-end to meet month-end closingschedule provided by institution.
- Prepare and submit/post journals forreclassification and adjustments, recurring transactions withininstitutions’ timeline.
- Train and guide junior staff and assist in resolvingdifficulties encountered by them.
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
JobRequirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
- Experience in Accounts Payable orAccounting is preferred; Candidates without experience are welcometo apply
- Proficientin Microsoft Office
- High integrity, meticulous and proactive
- Independent, self-driven with theability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal,communication and analytical skills
- Customer service oriented with good serviceattributes and team spirit to achieve win-win outcome
