Job Title: SAP ABAP Consultant

WorkLocation: Downtown Core, Singapore

Job Type: 1Year, subject to renewal

 

About theRole:

The role focuseson SAP for Insurance application support, technical solutiondevelopment, and documentation. The ideal candidate will analyzebusiness requirements, develop system solutions, and ensure qualityperformance through comprehensive testing. They will also supportusers during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-implementation,provide production support, and collaboration with stakeholders toaddress issues effectively.

 

PrimaryResponsibilities:

• Provide application production support within the servicelevel agreement established.
• Engage in thetechnical development of solutions, including the creation oftechnical documentation, application documentation, and userguides.
• Analyze business requirements todeliver suitable system solutions.
• ConductSystem Integration and User Acceptance Testing, and document thetest results.
• Perform root cause analysis forincidents and implement corrective actions.
• Execute functional analysis and code programs inaccordance with SAP coding standards.
• Provideuser support during UAT and post-implementation.

 

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, or related field.
• General Insurance knowledge is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in ABAP applicationdevelopment and a willingness to expand technicalskills.
• Experience with the SAP for Insurancesuite (e.g., FS-PM, FS-CM, FS-RI, FS-ICM, FS-CD, FS-BP).
• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0.
• Proficiency in OOABAP, ABAP programming, Data DictionaryObjects, and RICEFW development, as well as Smart Focus, Scripts,BAPI, and BADI implementation.
• Experience withPI/PO, background services, portal integration, SAP Web services,and SQL databases.
• Understanding of IFBCconfiguration and PBT/BDT framework, TMF model, and FPPframework.
• Functional and technical knowledgeof SAP for Insurance modules integration.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills with ability towork independently.
• Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills, proficiency in English, and a strong teamplayer attitude.
