What thisjob involves:

In aNutshell

First things first, your chief concernis to ensure a safe, compliant and more conducive work environmentfor our JLL teams on the ground, the client and the vendors andcontractors under JLL's purview. You will work as JLL Engineering'ssecond line of defence through a process of audit, training andenablement. Part of the checklist(s) you will run through arefocused on ensuring just that. You will need to stay up to date toall key relevant internal and external requirements as it pertainsto HSSE and Engineering. These include but are not limited to ISO45001, 14001, 55001, 41001, country regulations and JLL minimumstandard requirements as it pertains to HSSE andEngineering.

In addition, you will advise keyaccount leaders and Engineering and HSSE leaders of each site /account on ascertaining and aligning the level of risk at sites andguiding them to form a relevant and up to date risk register aspart of technical diligence representing corporate headquarters.The individual in this role will play a crucial role in drivingtechnical excellence and innovation, and will effectively use JLL'sestablished assurance programs to assess risk management andquality improvement opportunities of engineering service delivery.You will need to be comfortable with solid and matrixed linereporting structures, have a keen ability to influence others andbe comfortable driving for action with multiple stakeholders. Thisis a dynamic and highly results orientedrole.

You serve as a core representative ofthe organization and are expected to uphold the highest ethical andprofessional responsibility. You must be comfortable having candidconversations and managing discussions with more senior leaders andground staff. You should be resilient and adaptable and seek tounderstand changing requirements and the best of industry standardsto ensure high standards are being translated to the site. Whateverissues that you spot, you should act quickly to derive the bestsolution for the issue at hand collaboratively. Your input andideas will be sought to help steer the team in directions that helpmake various facilities perform at its best. You intrinsicallyunderstand that the needs of clients differ and the maturity ofsites is a progressive journey and will direct site and clientspecific plans that will grow at the needed pace. You will besupported fully by communities of expertise spanning the HSSE andEngineering disciplines.

In this role youfunction as a subject matter expert resource with keen technicalskills and program management, relevant technical knowledge andexecutive presence to advice senior management. It is a requirementfor you to be conversant with mechanical / civil / electricaldiagrams, engineering operations and maintenance procedures andprocesses, safe systems of work and relevant work experience toascertain and report on ground conditions and risk. It is highlyadvantageous for you to be well versed in problem solving tools.This is a fast paced role with tangible benefits and visiblesuccess indicators that requires you to optimize the talents of thevaried stakeholders involved with an exciting career roadmap forthe right individual. A seasoned manager, you will use theappropriate communication skills to ensure the right message isreceived across stakeholders of varying levels and there is nocommunication gap. In line with the regional nature of the role,travel is expected. Percentage of travel is highly subject tochange as it is depends on the risk profile at any giventime.

Duties andResponsibilities:

Provide an annual top 20 highrisk sites for in - person validation and riskreduction

Provide direct inputs to ERM riskstrategy for the region inclusive of executive summaries, dataanalysis and presentations to country and regional leadership toshape the risk profile of the individualcountries.

Feed the above into the overallquality driven ERM strategy of riskmitigation

Develop HSSE and Engineeringstrategies and policies (as needed) to drive riskreduction

Align with senior leaders on riskcategorization and profiling

Ensure escalationand rectification of key legal risks to the appropriate seniorleadership

Drive awareness and adoption of theabove through the Operations Council under the direction of theregional GHO

Monitor trends and legal changes toensure that JLL provides industry best practice in the delivery ofEngineering and HSSE services

Be well versedwith JLL's globally aligned audit program

Serveas an ambassador and validator of the above program as it pertainsto HSSE and Engineering

Perform in - person onsite audits in accordance to JLL minimum standards and locallegislation focusing on whichever isstricter

Train and validate new auditors to thesystem to ensure consistency in audit standards and riskprofiles

Collaborate with cross-functionalteams, including account leaders, Quality and other stakeholders,to ensure the successful delivery of risk reductioninitiatives

Conduct regular performanceevaluations, identify skills gaps, and provide mentoring andtraining opportunities to enhance the team'scapabilities.

Perform key adhoc engineeringactivities as may be required to support businessoperations

Foster a culture of teamwork,collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the engineering teamand across the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor'sor Master's degree in Engineering (preferred) or a relatedfield.

Relevant certifications in OccupationalHealth and Safety

Extensive experience (8-10years) in engineering roles or HSSE roles with technical expertisewith a proven track record of leadership and managing fast pacedactivities

Strong knowledge of problemprinciples, practices, andmethodologies.

Experience in a managerial orleadership role, with the ability to lead and motivate ahigh-performing engineering team.

Solidunderstanding of project management processes andpractices.

Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicatecomplex concepts to both technical and non-technicalstakeholders.

Proven ability to driveinnovation, process improvement, and change managementinitiatives.

Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills.

Knowledge of relevantindustry regulations, standards, and bestpractices.

Professional certifications, such asProfessional Engineer (PE), SCEM, etc. highlydesired
