JobPurpose:

The Deputy Director,Healthcare Redesign Department, is responsible for driving theimplementation and adoption of technology-enabled caretransformation within Alexandra Hospital. Reporting to the ClinicalDirector, the Deputy Director will work closely to provideintellectual and organizational leadership and to build thecapabilities to execute the department's strategicgoals.

KeyResponsibilities:
  1. Leadership andStrategy:Provide leadership in the development andexecution of strategic initiatives aimed at transforming healthcaredelivery through innovative technology.
    Collaborate withthe Clinical Director and other stakeholders to align departmentalgoals with the broader objectives of AlexandraHospital.
    Oversee the translation of clinical research andinnovation into practice and policy, focusing on pragmatic andeffectiveness-implementation hybrid trials.
  2. StakeholderEngagement:Engage with a diverse range of internaland external stakeholders to build capacity within the healthsystem for the effective implementation of technology-enabled caremodels.
    Facilitate collaboration across variousdepartments and with external partners to ensure the successfuladoption of new care models.
  3. Project Management:Lead theplanning, execution, and evaluation of projects related tohealthcare redesign, ensuring that they are completed on time andwithin budget.
    Manage cross-functional teams, ensuringclear communication and coordination across all projectphases.
    Develop and implement methods for monitoring andevaluating the effectiveness of care transformationinitiatives.
  4. Data and KnowledgeManagement:Strategize the use of clinical andadministrative data to generate real-world evidence that informspractice, policy, and research.
    Lead efforts in knowledgetranslation, ensuring that data-derived insights are effectivelycommunicated to inform clinical decision-making and policydevelopment.
    Oversee the development of clinicalguidelines and evidence synthesis to support healthcaretransformation initiatives.
  5. Education and CapacityBuilding:Establish and manage programs for educationand capacity-building within the hospital, ensuring that staff areequipped to engage with and implement newtechnologies.
    Provide mentorship and guidance to teammembers, fostering a culture of continuous learning andinnovation.

Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in HealthcareManagement, Public Health, Health Services Research, or a relatedfield.
  • Over 15 years of experience inhealthcare administration, research, or a related field, with afocus on healthcare system performance and innovation.
  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams andmanaging large-scale healthcare projects.
  • Experience in health system performance strategy,particularly in the context of translating research intopractice.
  • Strong communication skills and theability to engage with stakeholders at alllevels.
