Team Introduction

The AppAds and Gaming team empowers TikTok's global monetization(billion-dollar business) via efficiently delivering applicationads on TikTok. Our mission is to push the boundaries of large-scaleads delivery systems and lead the innovations of TikTok'spersonalized online advertising. Hence, you'll have a chance to getdeeply involved in our large-scale distributed systems andstate-of-the-art machine learning algorithms. As a Machine LearningEngineer on the App Ads & Gaming team, you will make efforts todevelop novel machine learning solutions for ranking, buildscalable foundations and launch various products that maximize theefficiency of deep funnel app ads delivery.

KeyResponsibilities:

- Work on the development of alarge-scale App Ads delivery system and improve itsaccuracy.

- Explore multi-stage ranking models,conduct data analysis, develop featureengineering.

- Participate in the innovations ofcore App Ads systems using machine learning models, rankingalgorithms, etc.

- Partner with productmanagers, data scientists and product strategy & operation teamto launch new App Ads products andfeatures.

MinimumQualifications:

- BS/MS degree in ComputerScience, Computer Engineering, or other relevantmajors.

- 0-1 year of hands-on experience withapplying machine learning methods for ranking.

-0-1 year of software development experience and strong codingskills, especially in Python/C++. Experience withTensorflow/PyTorch/MXNet is an essentialrequirement.

- Hands-on experience withindustry-level recommender systems.

- Proficientin online experimentation methods and analytics. Essentialknowledge and skills in statistics.
