- The Business Change Lead is a pan Transaction Bankingrole, the TB Change and Enablement team look after the TB(Transaction Banking) business change portfolio end-to-end,ensuring successful delivery of benefits to the business andalignment with the overall strategy. The role holder will beaccountable for business change and transformation of the businessand core business enablement initiatives. The successful candidatewill foster a culture of continuous improvement and stakeholdercollaboration to ensure TB operated at its highestpotential.
- Support the Business Change &Enablement team, TB in successful delivery of key TB businessstrategy initiatives and associated processes designs andimprovements to meet business growth aspirations and riskreduction, whilst strengthening ways of working, execution, deliveroutcomes, and ensure best in class capabilities are embedded intoBAU.
- Responsible for planning, implementing,managing initiatives aimed at optimising, monetising and drivingstrategic growth. You will support a comprehensive programmeroadmap, own the end-to-end delivery, and cover all aspects ofbusiness change requirements, risk management and progressmonitoring.
- The role holder will bring astrategic mindset with hands-on delivery and oversight over theoutcomes and must be comfortable dealing with ambiguity andbuilding strong stakeholder relationships and communicationchannels across TB. Collaborating closely with Senior Executives,Business Heads and cross-functional teams to ensure successfuldelivery of the programme and alignment with businessobjectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy andExecution
- Supportdefining the TB business change planning, rollout, and delivery ofthe business change and enablement agenda across TB in consultationwith the TB MT and TB COO.
- Execute abusiness-aligned enablement change plan (including KPIs to ensurethe initiatives are embedded and adopted).
- Drive excellence in business enablement, throughidentifying and delivering business success requirements. Monitorand report on the realisation of benefits from the enablementinitiatives, ensuring they meet objectives.
- Ensure good programme governance through programme /project disciplines, oversight committees and correct documentationof programme plans, approaches and documentation (as outlined inthe Bank's Programme Governance Policy and Project ManagementStandards).
- Produce clear documentation suchas plans, briefings, timelines, processes, stakeholder comms, ormeeting notes.
- Set a consistent methodologyfor measuring baselines and tracking/reporting benefits, trackingof transformation programmes at key milestone level (investments,costs and benefits)
- Manage relationships withMT level business and functional stakeholders on related projects,collaborating closely with them and their teams.
- Develop effective communication strategies to coordinatebetween various teams while keeping cross-functional stakeholdersand leaders informed on progress, challenges, and risks, andproviding reporting whenneeded.
RiskManagement & Governance
- Ensuring risks are appropriately managed with the RiskAppetite, overseeing mitigation and resolution of risks and issueswhich may impair delivery, escalating unresolvedrisks/issues
- Identify, escalate and resolveissues that have the potential to hinder or delay theimplementation TB initiatives
- Resolve anyissues or conflicts arising within the book of work. Work withother key project teams in TB or the Group to ensureinter-dependencies are appropriately considered andmanaged.
- Manage audits and assurance reviews,both internal andexternal.
EnterpriseAgility & BusinessEfficiency
- Support thedelivery of large-scale business enablement and change agenda,ensuring execution across the highest value items.
- Focus on streamlining and improving business efficiency(not limited to people, process and technology) and touchpoints tosupport TB revenue production.
- Collaboratewith cross-functional teams to identify opportunities forimprovement and develop solutions that address theseneeds.
- Embed a mindset across TB to measuresuccess in simplifying processes and activities.
- Proactively propose improvements, enhancements, andsimplifications across TB, obtaining buy-in toimplement.
ChangeManagement
- Accountablefor delivery of business change programmes ensuring appropriateprogramme structure, tracking, reporting and governance.
- Design and implement tools to support the TB businesschange and enablement agenda. Ensure that TB is ready to adopt thechange, with all necessary training, resources, skills, and supportin place.
- Strong business engagement, workingclosely with business units across the organisation to ensure theyare prepared for the change, addressing any concerns orresistance.
- Where specific subject matterexpertise is required, bring together and facilitate the optimaloutcome for TB and the Group and communicate it in a clear andcompelling way to key stakeholders.
- Workclosely with TB businesses impacted by relevant initiatives andchanges to solve issues and spot opportunities as theyarise.
- Ensure that all change managementdeliverables are completed on time and to the requiredstandard.
- Develop and execute effectivecommunication plans to inform and engage all relevant parties aboutthe change. Prepare supporting documents andpresentations.
- Proactively promote andcommunicate relevant project narratives across key stakeholdersincluding regional management and support functions asrequired.
- Oversee the development and deliveryof training and support materials to facilitate change inTB.
- Establish mechanisms for gatheringfeedback on the change process, and make necessary adjustmentsbased on this feedback.
- Ensure end-to-enddelivery of business enablement initiatives and facilitateeffective handovers toBAU.

- Strongrelationship management skills. Strong ability to manage andeffectively influence multiple stakeholders including seniormanagement
- Work with relevant stakeholders toprepare for high-profile quarterly and monthly status reviews:designing the agenda, overseeing the creation of materials,ensuring key discussion points are well prepared to ensuredecisions can be made efficiently.
