Assistant Manager, Business Office

You will support the Senior Manager, Business Office inmanaging and overseeing billing processes, ensuring accurate andtimely submission of claims. You will manage external purchasedservices and lead the implementation and system enhancements forNational Billing System.

Charging/Billing Roles
Youwill adminster charging and billing rules in SAP-ISH & eCCAP toensure system compliance with policies and procedures. You will beresponsible for maintaining master records in these systems forbilling systems setup and configuration. You will ensure the timelysubmission of claims to third-party payors (e.g. CPF Board, PrivateMedical Insurance, MCPS, etc.) and work closely with them toresolve any claims issues. You will also represent the billing teamin meetings and workgroups, collaborating on issues that impactpatient billing.

Manage PurchasedServices/Items
You will manage externalpurchased services and specialised non-stock nursing items,ensuring accurate and proper charging to patient bill. You willperform regular checks and audits to ensure compliance.

System Enhancement &Roll-Outs
You will lead the billing teamin gathering user requirements and conducting user acceptancetesting for system enhancements. You will support the team managerin developing SOPs and training staff for system updates and newservice implementations. You will represent the team in meetingswith Synapxe, system vendors and external parties regardingbilling-related systems.

Implementation of National Billing System(NBS)
You will learn NBS features andfunctionalities and support its implementation as an expert userand trainer. You will assist in the analysis and identifying gapsbetween current business requirements and NBSfunctionalities.

Others
You will supportmanagement decision-making by performing data extraction, collationand business analysis as needed. You will ensure timely reportingto stakeholders, including MOH and SCH Management and ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements. You will also facilitateexternal audits and participate in projects as assigned bysupervisor.

JobRequirements:
⦁ Degree in Accountancy,Business Administration (major in Accountancy or Finance) orequivalent or Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA orCA).
⦁ At least 6 years of experience inAccounting/Finance, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
⦁ Prior experience in a healthcare setting isadvantageous.
⦁ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word,Excel, Powerpoint) and advanced Excel skills, with experience indata analysis.
⦁ Possess strong communication andinterpersonal skills.
⦁ Team player, capable of managingcross-functional and institutional relationships.
⦁Independent worker with the ability to handle tight deadlines andthrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Adept at handlingcomplex, ambiguous and challenging situations.
⦁ Excellentorganisational and prioritisation skills, systematic and meticulousin work.
