JOBSUMMARY
- The BusinessPlanning Manager (BPM), WRB CEO, reports to the WRB Chief of Staffand as part of the WRB CEO Office, provides support in areas suchas strategy, performance management, communications, projectmanagement, event management, and governance. This is a hands-onrole which involves close collaboration with the WRB ManagementTeam and stakeholders across our markets, to support execution ofWRB near-term priorities as well as longer-term strategy. The BPMneeds to display strong business acumen, a deep understanding ofthe WRB landscape in our key markets, strong communication andinterpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, as well asan ability to think independently andprioritise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
General
- Support the WRB Chief of Staff to manage agendas for WRBManagement Team meetings, ensuring meeting materials are submittedon time and decisions and actions are documented and tracked tocompletion.
- Organise overseas visits incollaboration with local offices and coordinate logistical mattersas required.
- Organise global WRB townhalls,leadership huddles and leadership meetings including offsites,driving alignment of shared objectives across business andfunctions.
- Prepare briefing notes, speakingnotes and supplementary research ahead of key meetings.
- Undertake specific business projects and ad-hoc requestsas they arise day-to-day, in areas such as costs, transformation,culture and employeevolunteering
Communications
- Support the WRB CEO communications agenda, working withCABM on development and execution to ensure effective communicationof key messages across WRB business and functions.
- Prepare speaking notes and presentation materials forinternal and external speakingengagements.
ExternalRelationships
- Ensurethe WRB CEO is well prepared for meetings with regulators,government officials, investors, clients, auditors, asrequired.
People andTalent
- Work with HRBusiness Partner/team to incorporate WRB people agenda intotownhalls and overseas visits.
- Support talent,conduct, culture, and diversity & inclusion initiatives inWRB
Governance andRisk Management
- Ensurerelevant risks and/or issues are brought to the attention of theWRB Chief of Staff
- Support WRB risk governancetasks, such as risk papers, corporate plan riskchallenge
- Support all governance andremediation related activities and ensure propercompliance
- Manage and upkeep WRB ManagementTeam collaborative sites and distributionlists
AdditionalResponsibilities
- Support the WRB CEO's additional remit orresponsibilities e.g. CEO, GCNA; Lifting Participation MTco-sponsor; Global D&I Council Chair
- Support the WRB Chief of Staff in driving specialprojects as needed

Our IdealCandidate
- 10+ years ofBanking experience
- Strong business acumen andexperienced navigator of the organisation, with a goodunderstanding of WRB business and market landscape, especially inour largest markets
- A team player with stronginterpersonal skills and collaborative mindset, to influence andwork with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Exceptional attention to detail, ability and willingnessto take a hands-on approach to getting things done, proactiveness,and ability to anticipate requirements
- Abilityto problem-solve and handle ambiguity, including flexibility toadapt to changes and peaks in workload at short notice
- Ability to prioritise and balance between work on broadstrategic projects and day-to-day process-oriented tasks
- Expert communication skills - oral, written andvisual
- Inquisitive mind with the ability tostructure, organise or simplify complex information
- Domain knowledge and expertise in Risk or Finance isstrongly preferred
- Familiarity with GCNAbanking and regulatory landscape is an advantage
- Experience with event management is anadvantage
