Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in storage performance tuning, cloud infrastructure management, and project handling, along with a solid understanding of incident and change management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and optimize cloud platforms, including AWS (EC2, S3, Route53, CloudFormation, Elastic IPs, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch) and Azure.
• Configure and manage Elastic Load Balancers (ELB) with EC2 Auto Scaling groups for scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure.
• Optimize volumes, EC2 instances, and create multi-AZ VPC instances to ensure high availability and performance.
• Utilize AWS Elastic Block Storage (EBS), including selecting and configuring appropriate volume types based on client requirements.
• Administer and manage storage arrays from vendors such as EMC, Hitachi (AMS, HUS, VSP, Gx00 series), and NetApp.
• Perform storage performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
• Manage incident and change management processes to ensure minimal disruption to services.
• Handle end-to-end project execution, from sizing and planning to rollout, with a focus on delivering solutions on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement storage and cloud solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in administering storage arrays (EMC, Hitachi, NetApp) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, Route53, CloudFormation, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of AWS Elastic Block Storage (EBS) and its various volume types.
• Experience in configuring Elastic Load Balancers and Auto Scaling groups.
• Knowledge of storage performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with incident management and change management processes.
• Project management experience, including sizing, planning, and rollout of storage and cloud solutions.
• Strong analytical skills, initiative, and the ability to plan and execute tasks systematically.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS SysOps Administrator) or Azure.
• Certifications in storage technologies (e.g., EMC, Hitachi, NetApp).
• Experience with Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage systems (AMS, HUS, VSP, Gx00).
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
