Our client is a leading precision engineering manufacturer serving the Automotive, Technology and Healthcare sectors. With a long history of more than 30 years, this industry leader is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.

about the job

• Establish New Business Segments for Europe and Asia customers and expand to new markets
• Define our Value proposition by working with the Business units to align target applications and target markets.
• To manage assigned accounts and seek to grow them.
• Have expertise in the injection molding, die casting, stamping and PCBA technologies and tooling for the same.
• Responsible for technology/industrial market sales in Asia; to grow a profitable new business for the company.
• Understand and have experience with technology and industrial sales channels.
• Develop new business based on market opportunity and prioritization; execute sales strategy
• Maintains strong relationships with strategic accounts and works to establish new customer relationships.
• Work closely with Operations and Engineering to identify capabilities and competencies
• Provides regular business and market updates to the Company senior management team.
• Manages quote activity and coordination of company’s approach to capture business.

job requirement

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years of direct related experience in a sales and business development role
• Preferably come from the precision plastic/metal/injection molding/EMS industry
• Possesses a business network of potential customers within their supply chain, commodity management and design teams
• Must be comfortable with at least 50% of travel
