Job Responsibilities

• Perform risk assessment of medical case up to the specified authorization limit;
• Ensure the assigned new business tasks comply with the Company’s New Business Policy & Procedures, and Underwriting Guideline and Rule Book and service pledge;
• Provide sellers’ enquiries supports
• Provide supports at Agency Service Counter;
• Review Underwriters’ works if required
• Provide second approval of referred application from Underwriters
• Assist Team Leader or Managers to keep track of applications requests for producing monitoring and control reports
• Handle ad-hoc assignments if required

Job Requirements

• University degree holder
• Possess at least 5-6 years' experience in underwriting
• Solid knowledge of medical aspects (anatomy, physiology, disease, medical abbreviations & terminology, lab tests etc.) and financial underwriting
• Client service mindset with good problem solving skills
• Proficient knowledge in PC application including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
• Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese communication skills
