Position Summary

Quality Engineering Engineer is responsible to develop & deploy in-process monitoring procedure & system to ensure prompt arrest of process issues and ensure process stability & deliver conforming product.

Candidates with experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible & also Chair-person for Material Review Board (MRB) business process.
• Setup abnormality gating & reporting system with regular review process
• Analyse & drive for validated data to mitigate the assessed risk
• Setup SPC review process
• Designated process-in-charge overseeing process issues and drive for improvement & 8D closure
• Work closely with relevant departments to uphold product quality, manage costs and ensure customer satisfaction
• Core member in new product / process introduction to ensure safe launch
• Supports change management execution, FMEA review, Control Plan review, MES development
• Other ad-hoc activities assigned by the reporting manager

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in semiconduction production & inspection processes
• Well-versed with interpreting drawings, inspection plan & analysis tools such as OGP (optical gaging) and even design customized jigs to aid inspection procedure.
• Working knowledge of MSA, GR&R, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC & 8D, JMP or Minitab, SAP, Tableau
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Possesses the analytical ability to structure processes and procedures, identify trends and patterns, as well as resourcefulness to propose solutions
• Demonstrate commitment to high levels of quality and customer satisfaction
