The Role:

Our client is seeking a Legal Counsel who has experience and knowledgeable in International Shipping and Commodity Trading. You will be responsible for advising on contracts, resolving disputes, ensuring compliance with laws and internal regulations, and proactively monitoring the legal developments that impact the operations.

Requirements:

• Qualification in Singapore is required.
• Experience in Commodities Trading and Shipping & International Trade Law is preferred
• Strong drafting across INCOTerms, LNG Spot contracts, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience in ISDA schedules, commodity derivatives will be considered
• Opportunity to negotiate and work regionally on North Asia counter parties
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
