Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the data preparation process and the development of data dashboards using software such as Dataiku, Tableau, and PowerPoint. Your expertise in data management, analysis, and visualization will be critical in providing actionable insights to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Data Preparation
• Collect, clean, transform, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with different stakeholders and analysts to identify data requirements and develop efficient data pipelines
• Implement data quality control processes to identify and resolve data inconsistencies, missing values, and outliers
• Utilize SQL or other programming languages to manipulate and extract data for analysis
• Dashboard Development
• Design and develop interactive and visually appealing data dashboards using tools like Dataiku, Tableau, and PowerPoint
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations
• Create intuitive and user-friendly dashboards that effectively communicate complex data insights.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the dashboards by conducting thorough testing and validation

Data Analysis and Visualization

• Analyze data trends, patterns, and anomalies to identify actionable insights and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Visualize data in a compelling manner to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven recommendations and support strategic decision-making

Documentation and Communication

• Document data preparation processes, data sources, and methodologies for future reference
• Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with teams to present findings, answer questions, and provide technical guidance on data dashboards

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 - 5+ experience in data preparation, data analysis, and dashboard development
• Proficiency in using software such as Dataiku, Tableau, and PowerPoint for data preparation and dashboarding
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data manipulation and extraction
• Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights
• Familiarity with statistical concepts and analytical techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
