Responsibilities

• Support the Sous Chef in preparing and cooking menu dishes.
• Contribute ideas and provide suggestions in menu developments.
• Responsible for Inventory, stock taking, ordering of stock following a standardized ordering system.
• Cleaning of food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and washing of utensils.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety practices, sanitation and hygiene requirements.
• Perform kitchen daily operational tasks.
• Monitor and maintain freshness and quality of food items.
• Prepare food ingredients based on required standards.
• Maintenance of kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Assist in managing health & safety regulations, food hygiene practices, waste control.

Requirements

• Secondary School / N Level / NiTEC
• 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in Food/Beverge/Restaurant Service.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and preparation standards
• Familiar with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
• Knowledge of Local, Western, Asian Cuisine.
• Able to converse and read English and Mandarin.
• Able & willing to perform shift work.
• Able to start work within short notice.
