An intriguing newly created Regional Security Analyst role exists to serve our esteemed client. Collaborating alongside the Global Information Security team, the selected talent will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and evaluating security protocols across various business-enabling technologies. With a focus on optimal configuration and seamless operations, the talent will also provide expert guidance to the supported region.

The Role
The role involves participating in the selection, deployment, and management of critical security technologies. This includes maintaining and updating the collection of Information Security Policies and Procedures. Additionally, it encompasses aiding in the investigation of security breaches and instances of non-compliance with IT security policies, even those of a sensitive and confidential nature. The responsibility extends to scrutinizing security-related incidents, assessing associated risks, and collaborating with appropriate teams to develop mitigation strategies. Contribution to the creation and delivery of awareness training and general education regarding Information Security is expected. Conducting assessments of Network and System Vulnerabilities and documenting corrective actions is part of the role. The position entails recognizing both internal and external threats that might jeopardize the unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or destruction of customer information assets. Timely follow-up on patch management and vulnerability rectification with relevant stakeholders is required. The role also involves identifying, evaluating, and supporting security control recommendations aimed at mitigating information security risks. Collaboration with global teams to ensure adherence to Global IT Security protocols, processes, policies, standards, templates, and guidelines are essential. Staying updated on evolving information and technology risks, new regulations, laws, and requirements in the realms of information risk, security, cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy across various jurisdictions are key duties.

Your Profile
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree with required Information Security certification (CISSP, GSEC, GMON, or similar), networking certification (CCNP, CCNA, or similar), accompanied by a minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience in an IT Security capacity. This role demands a proven track record in analyzing security incidents to identify their underlying causes and deliver effective solutions. Proficiency in security-centered cloud operations (specifically AWS and Azure), as well as familiarity with IT and Network operations encompassing server management and network/firewall configuration, is essential. A high level of familiarity with an array of security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, A/V, EDR, anti-spam mechanisms, content management systems, and the hardening of servers and network devices, are also required. Someone proactive, engaging with good interpersonal skills are essential to be successful in the role.
