Our client is a growing security consulting firm and is in search of a proficient Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to become a part of their vibrant team. You will serve as the go-to technical expert and trusted consultant for their clients, offering them valuable insights, solutions, and assistance throughout the sales journey. You must have comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity technologies (UEBA, SIEM, SOAR, DLP, etc.), outstanding communication capabilities, and capacity to grasp and cater to client requirements will play a pivotal role in ensuring successful sales interactions.

The Role
In this role, you will serve as their primary technical resource for the sales team, offering your expertise on our cybersecurity solutions and services. Your responsibilities include grasping the technical requirements, challenges, and objectives of our clients to recommend suitable solutions that align with their specific needs. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to comprehend client needs and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations. You will also be responsible for preparing and delivering product presentations and proofs of concept (POCs) to showcase the value of our cybersecurity solutions. Throughout the sales process, you will address technical inquiries and concerns to foster confidence and trust among clients. You will play a crucial role in solution design, taking into consideration the existing infrastructure and security posture of our clients. You'll craft comprehensive technical proposals that elucidate the technical aspects of the solution, including architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and cost estimates. Your collaboration with the sales team will ensure the seamless integration of the technical proposal into the overall sales strategy. You will be at the forefront of responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs) from potential clients, taking the lead on the technical aspects. This will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that our responses are both comprehensive and accurate. Lastly, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our internal sales teams by conducting training sessions to enhance their technical understanding of our cybersecurity solutions.

Your Profile
A suitable candidate for this role should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field. Furthermore, they should have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in positions such as Pre-Sales Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similar roles within the cybersecurity sector. This individual should also possess a deep and comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity technologies, encompassing areas like network security, endpoint protection, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), User Entity and Behavior Analytics (UEBA), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), data loss prevention (DLP), workflow, and threat intelligence. Moreover, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful pre-sales support and actively contributing to the growth of sales revenue. Exceptional presentation and communication skills are a must, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to audiences without technical backgrounds. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for effectively comprehending and addressing client needs. The candidate should also demonstrate the capability to craft compelling technical proposals for customers and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, managing multiple engagements concurrently. Possession of relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA would be advantageous, and a willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events, as necessary, is also expected.
