Roles & Responsibilities

The Business Incident Response Manager will be responsible for managing a high-performing team within a set region (i.e., APAC, EMEA, NA). Reporting to the global manager, the individual in this role will devise goals, work to improve the overall escalations experience for Meta’s community, deliver projects and implement solutions to meet community needs, while working with partners within various cross-functional teams to drive priorities. This individual will lead a team that will be solving complex issues across a myriad of cross-functional teams and helping to mitigate these risks from reoccurrence. Helping the community of internal and external Meta users is core to the Business Incident Response Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to members of your team
  • Lead and enable a high-performing team to deliver on goals by providing superb 1:1 support, and enabling deeper, more scalable solutions
  • Help shape global team vision and establish team goals and work with direct reports and leaders across the organization on strategies for executing, measuring progress and sharing results
  • Deliver projects involving quantitative analysis, industry research, and strategy development, working directly with global cross-functional teams to problem solve and develop solutions
  • Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence team strategy through effective communication
  • Lead strategic tools, systems, and data projects to help the team analyze trends and delivering insights to define goals and improve processes
  • Build strategic relationships with global and cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate risks to the company, develop global solutions across operations and policy
  • Regularly communicate and interface with leadership and global executives in risk management situations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of experience working in large-scale operations, domains such as risk management, online operations, escalations, policy or management consulting
  • 2+ years of experience managing teams within the integrity domain
  • Experience in partnering closely with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic outcomes across both functional and global boundaries
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and operational experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in dealing with escalation management, requiring cross team/global coordination efforts on high priority and time sensitive integrity issues
  • Experience with analytical tools (like Excel, SQL, or R)
  • BS/BA Degree
