Job Overview

Portfolio management of a single strategy fund with a mandate of mid to small cap Japanese public equities.

This role is based in Singapore but will involve regular travel to Japan as well as other regions globally to speak with investors.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Manage a concentrated portfolio

· Identify investment opportunities, build financial models, estimate company intrinsic values

· Deep bottom-up fundamental analysis

· Perform trade execution

· Oversight on all fund activities

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with investment companies

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, private banks, family offices and HNWIs globally

Requirements

· Relevant work experience with quality buy-side financial institutions in asset management and hedge funds

· Experience with Japanese public equities

· Native level Japanese and Native Level English

· Highly motivated and adept at multi-tasking

· Outstanding presentation and communication skills (written/verbal)

· Bachelor’s degree in finance-related subject
