About our client: Our client is a manufacturer of offshore drilling and production equipment that is well-suited for use in deepwater applications.

About the role:

• Works closely with the Manufacturing Manager, Shop Lead, and other process stakeholders to ensure that production plans are achievable and that materials are available when needed.
• Monitor production progress and make adjustments to the production.
• Maintain the production schedule, ensuring that all products are manufactured on time and in accordance with customer specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future production needs to ensure that raw materials are available when needed.
• Work closely with Purchasing to expedite deliveries of critical components and raw materials.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality control, and other departments to resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Investigate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Generate reports detailing production progress and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate records of all production activities.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new product launch plans.
• Must have demonstrated ability to maintain production schedules and knowledge of production control and inventory control.
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems, word processing, spreadsheets, project management, etc.
• Knowledge of forecasting methods and inventory optimization techniques

About you:

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Min. 5 Years in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Must have experience in all aspects of a manufacturing machine shop, fabrication, welding, and cladding.

• Work location: Tuas (pick-up transport provided)
• Work hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5.15pm)
