About the team

The salesdevelopment team at Stripe drives Stripe’s future growth engine byworking with the Account Executive team to build Stripe’s salespipeline.

What you’ll do

You are excited about prospecting to potentialcustomers, and are capable of independently identifying highpotential Customers for Stripe. You are adept at identifying highvalue opportunities and capable of managing early sales funnelactivities. You are used to delivering value in competitivesituations and enjoy working on products that require deep productunderstanding combined with technical knowledge. Finally, you enjoybuilding – you like to actively participate in the development ofthe sales process, the articulation of Stripe’s value proposition,and the creation of key tools and assets.

We take a data driven, analytical approach to outbound sales, andare looking for someone who is confident in both prospecting tocustomers and in helping design our strategy. Stripe is not atypical company, and this is not a typical outbound sales role. Ifyou’re hungry, smart, persistent, and a great teammate, we want tohear from you!

Responsibilities

Identify high-potential businesses and develop andexecute outbound strategies to bring them to Stripe
Develop and lead outbound campaigns from idea-generation through toqualified calls
Launch and test new outbound leadgeneration channels and determine how best to scale them
Develop and codify best practices and sales workflowsfor scaled and bespoke interactions with prospects
Workwith cross-functional teams like Marketing and Product to developnew content
Who you are

We’relooking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to beconsidered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you areencouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, nota requirement.

Minimum qualifications
3+ years of sales experience, preferably at atechnology company, with a track record of top performance
Ability to speak Mandarin fluently as this roleprimarily deals with our Mandarin-speaking clients
Ability to understand the Stripe product and build greatrelationships with technical prospects
Stronganalytical and quantitative capabilities
Superiorverbal and written communication skills
Ability tooperate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
Self starter who is used to working in a scrappy team
Strong interest in technology
Preferredqualifications
Experience with sales and marketingautomation tools
Prior experience at a growth stageInternet / Software company

Hybrid work at Stripe
