Job Description

The successful candidatewill have the followingresponsibilities:

Managing audit engagements which include initialengagement planning, analysis of controls and processes,preparation and review of audit documentations and managementletters and reports and monitoring of engagement progress againstbudget and timeline
Developing and maintaininglong-term client relationship and identifying business developmentopportunities
Coaching and developing teammembers to achieve technical competencies and efficientperformance

The idealcandidate should have:

A recognised degree in Accountancy and professionalaccounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA orequivalent
Must have knowledge on PCAOBStandards, IAS, ICOFR, IFRS, US GAAP
Externalaudit experience of minimum 7 years or more in a mid-tier or largeaccounting firm and experience in handling a portfolio of clientsin a medium to large professional services firm
A good understanding of pertinent business and riskmanagement issues and familiarity with the regulatory and reportingenvironment. Good working knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and SOX-404 isgreatly advantageous
Excellent communicationsskills, strong analytical skills and excellent businessacumen.
