Technical Support Manager

Job Description

You will be leading a technical support team of 5 members for a financial institution to provide system and application support for statement printing system

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team to provide level 2 support both systems and application
  • Ensuring smooth running of infra and application
  • Managing Incidents and issues related to applications under remit
  • Involved in leading the team to perform root cause analysis
  • Carrying out automation of processes
  • Ensuring timefly resolution especially for high severity incidents to business users
  • Provide management reporting
  • Ensuring processes are followed

Requirements

  • Min 12 years of experience with min 7 years in technical support role
  • Prior experience in leading support team in banking industry is preferred
  • Comes from strong technical background, able to perform troubleshooting if required
  • Prior experience in automation using windows or batch scripts, Unix shell and python
  • Experience in vbscript is a plus
  • Good experience in incident and problem management
  • STrong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
