My client is seeking a dedicated and experienced SAP Migration Project Manager to lead a critical SAP migration initiative. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for successfully planning, executing, and overseeing the migration of our SAP systems, ensuring a seamless transition while meeting project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for SAP migration, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish clear migration strategies, goals, and success criteria.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to the migration project.

2. Team Leadership:

Build and lead a cross-functional project team, including SAP specialists, technical experts, and external consultants if necessary.
Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
Provide guidance, support, and motivation to keep the team focused on project goals.

3. Budget and Resource Management:

Manage the project budget, including resource allocation and procurement of necessary tools or services.
Monitor and control project expenditures to ensure adherence to the budget.

4. Migration Execution:

Oversee the migration process, ensuring that it aligns with best practices and minimizes disruption to business operations.
Coordinate data migration activities, testing, and validation efforts.
Collaborate with technical teams to address any technical challenges during migration.

5. Stakeholder Communication:

Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and potential issues.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their involvement and buy-in throughout the migration.

6. Quality Assurance:

Define and enforce quality standards for the migration process, including data accuracy and system performance.
Implement thorough testing and validation procedures to identify and resolve issues promptly.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and status reports.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management and project sponsors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on SAP migration projects.
Strong knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects on time and within budget.
Experience with risk management and issue resolution.
Familiarity with SAP migration tools and methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
